Could it be fixed so that at the very least creating a symlink will fix the problem? In fact symlinks DO fix the problem, but the file open dialogue defaults to the resolved path. So if you don't notice that you're not in the link you just made, you could have problems. Or should the user be warned that this is not supported? It's pretty scary when your document starts locking LyX with no explanation... >Herbert Have fun, Darren
