In 1.3.0: Insert -> Math -> Cases environment is broken in 1.3, either xforms or qt. Using the minibuffer with 'M-x math-insert cases 2' also does not work. In both 1.2.2 and 1.3.0: The cases environment does not imply automaticaly amsmath, so you must check Layout -> Document -> Extra -> Use AMS math or the generated tex file will be broken. As amsmath is automaticaly included when you use other ams envs, I think that this should be the case also for 'cases'. Cheers, João. P.S. I can enter a cases env typing '\cases' in math mode. I wonder if is this intended, because afaik \cases does not exist in latex.
