Sorry for taking so looong to reply, but I was overloaded with work.
OK for URLs (insert-URLs). I think you misunderstood me (sorry for not
beeing clear enough).
The problem is that the font does not swhitch back to "normal" after the
end of the current paragraph.
For instance:
some french text _some text that need to be in english (e.g. code so I
don't want a:=b to be writtent as a :=b) (don't tell me there is a
"insert code" at that point :-P))_ and here is the end of the text and
here I want a: to be a : :)
Now the problem is that the end of the paragraph and the end of the text
will be kept in "english" at Latex compilation, though on the interface
it is not sublined in blue (that is to say lyx considers it is french,
but it sends it as english to LaTex). This means the "itemize" in
english, the spacing-rules before ponctuation in english, and so on.
Sorry to repeat myself, but on the interface, it appears as "default
font"...
Do you understand the problem ? Do you want me to send you a .lyx file ?
