Lars, I had/have no idea what these *.inc do or mean, and thus it took me a while to get to the real problem. That problem was: this std*.inc breaks the use of revtex4.layout (with cvs, that is). And even worse, LyX crashes when trying to use revtex4.layout (the SIGBUS error with the menu; BTW: any idea how that can happen?). Please be aware that the introduction of these new std*.inc may need a revision of (some of) the layout files. Regards, Rob.
