Hi,

Sorry if this bug has already been reported.

In Lyx 1.2.1
I write a french document. Suppose that I write an URL in my text. To
avoid the automatic space between "http" and "://", I select this text
and sets the character layout to "english". The problem is that lyx
doesn't switch back to the french language.
That is to say, in the .lyx file, there is a:
        \layout standard
        \lang english
before the URL but only a \layout standard after (no \lang frenchb).
To make a long story short: lyx 1.2.1 doesn't switch back to the default
language after you changed a character's language.

This bug must have been present also in lyx 1.2.0 (I noticed on an old
document that the quotes were french-GUT like instead of frenchb like,
which is due to a forgotten backswitch "\lang frenchb" IMHO).

Could you send me by mail the patch if you find it ? I often switch
language in my documents (my PhD thesis actually) and I'd greatly
appreciate to be able to avoid this problem.

Thanks in advance,
        Nico.
