Agreed. Personally I didn't get this for a long time. > What about "span whole width" or something similar which looks > english? Only problem is perhaps that the LyX users complain because "Wide floats" have gone ;-) Incidentally, I am currently trying to implement the !-option and buttons to set the default placement (of the float and of the document).
