Dig deeper.
- compile without optimization
- compile without inlining
(and get gdb and valgrind traces after that)
Try to discover _why_ it fails.
Is it a:
- lyx source bug
- boost library bug
- compiler bug
- linker bug
- try to produce a small (~30-40 lines) testcase that shows the same
behaviour.
If we have the test case, then both the boost and the gcc people can
be brought in.
