thank you for the tips. I got lyx-1.2.0pre1 running without putting in peril my thesis! I got a irreproducible core dump while doing emacs-like control sequence in non-emacs-keymap, while not running in gdb (I'll use it from now on). Is there any way to disable amsmath? I define a math-macro called \ggg that apparently conflicts with ams-stuff. This macro is incorrectly displayed as ert in math insets. Don't hesitate to ask more info on these succing reports. I will send more (in fact, I hope less) reports as they come.
