hi, when using the option longtable for a table (inside a table float) the numbering of tables is multiplied by two, such that it goes table 2, table 4, table 6,... instead of 1,2,3,...
the reason may be that the tex output says
\begin{table}
\begin{longtable}
...
\end{longtable}
\caption{}
\end{table}
but not
\begin{longtable}
...
\caption{}
\end{longtable}
as it should imho.
happened with lyx 1.1.6fix4 from jan 11 2002.
