John mentionned something about undo/change_class/redo, but I do not know what really happens. Anyway, are you sure that using strings removes all needs to update layouts? For example, if in the new class the given layout is obsolete (which can be thought as a way for a class to say how a given style should be translated), will it work out transparently? JMarc
