This is what I was doing. Open the dropdown and with it open move the main window. The drop down remains in its original position. It should move with the main window. I think that we shouldn't create a new form anyway, but rather should add a permanent DropDown object (renamed!) to the LyXView on top of the workarea. We would then simply show or hide the browser as approriate. A
