You'd need to be moer specific. What sort of things are they doing when it crashes (resizing windows, clicking on menus, what ?). There is a small possibility of interaction between xforms (which is certainly broken in countless ways) and the window manager, but I've certainly never seen a lyx bug caused by it, and I've spent a /lot/ of time chasing xforms/X problems with lyx. regards john -- "...life's not a paragraph and death i think is no parenthesis" - e. e. cummings
