IMHO it's not that landscape does not work correctly but that the AMS classes do not have landscape support (which might be possible, since they provide a style for a journal which is always printed portrait). So what shall we do? We cannot set geometry /always/ for landscape, because other classes have landscape support -- KOMA has very good landscape support, the standard classes look strange (very wide margins), but if someone likes it -- and we cannot force people to use the geometry layout instead which looks different (btw: if you chose "Custom Margins" and leave the margin inputs empty, you'll get the geometry settings). We could of course use geometry for the AMS-classes and other classes who don't support landscape natively. I haven't checked, but it seems to me that ejour belongs to these ones, too. Are we supposed to do this? What do the LaTeX gurus say? Jürgen.
