Hi Dekel,
I have not checked your latest patch so far but I assume it scans all
loaded documents for labels.
Do you intend to change the citation reference dialog in order to make it
behave identical? The current approach makes LyX load all documents -
whether this is really needed or not. Moreover, the user may not fully
understand what is going on (see one of my previous mails on that topic).
I think the rule "you can refer to what is loaded" is much more
intuitive and simpler to describe even though it does not take into
account the structure of a multipart document. As usual you could count on
me as a beta tester...
