I can find lots of .pfb files in my teTeX installation. Eg:
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/cm/cmb10.pfb
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/symbols/msam10.pfb
It'd be nice if I could get mkfontdir working.
Currently, I get:
aleem> cd /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/cm
aleem> mkfontdir .
aleem> more fonts.dir

I have .pfb fonts in my X11 font path, so my system isn't sooo backward.
man mkfontdir isn't particularly informative. Anybody out there an expert at
this?
