So this seems a good option. I would have some more!

- If you use long-tabular footnotes are working without this preamble stuff!

- If you use the minipage switch for a cell then footnotes are also working
  without this additions.

- If both of the above is not true then we can add your preamble stuff.

Would that be ok?
