Yeah. After I sent my email I tried with lynx and got it OK. Thanks!

I know, I know.
I'm just too lazy. I have Netscape configured into my environment: I
use Emacs for everything, including mail and news, and I have glue
scripts set up to communicate clicking URLs with Netscape (open new
frames, etc.); I have button bar buttons that I paste words into to be
looked up in the web dictionary, etc.
I must have full 128-bit encryption, because even some of my intranet
sites require SSL access.
Not to mention our internal sites are only officially supported on
Netscape and IE.
I'm using Debian and I don't have much time to mess around with building
this type of thing by hand (I'm too busy building other stuff by hand :)
so it has to be packaged for Debian--the Mozilla debs are still pretty
unstable. Konqueror is there; maybe I'll try that out.
I've been using Netscape for so many years that even though I'm no power
user (I only use Netscape Navigator, not Communicator) I still am very
used to it. I tried Opera last week and it was nice... but different...
Excuses, excuses. One of these days Netscape will piss me off so badly
I'll chuck it all in a fit of pique ... or one of the others will
impress me so much I'll gladly jump the hurdles.
Thanks, though!
