Probably that is the point.
In colors I chose "Use system colors". I would expect this to work
without any additional tweak. Or is this expecting too much? :-)
Our color system should have been upgraded 15 years ago :)
- have real color themes
- accept to change colors that have been randomly chosen by someone in
1998
- stop believing than coloring something in "blue", "yellow", "red" is a
good idea.
- indeed do something about this "use system colors" thing, since it
appears that we do not have enough colors proposed by Qt in this area
to produce all the colors we need.
- I think we overuse color coding of UI, which is known to be bad for
some people.
- what we really need is an UX expert on the team.
But seriously, have you ever tried to propose changing the color or
aspect of something? It is a fun experiment.
OTOH, I never managed to convince myself that I liked dark themes. I try
from time to time, but not very conclusively up to now. I only use it
for terminal (with the nord theme).
