But isn't the idea of the stdsections.inc file to contain the correct
book class sizes? If so, and changing the inc file is the right way,
then the sectioning_sizes.diff should do what you suggest.
Sorry, I did not keep the diff you mention in my inbox. Anyway I took
some time to read the LaTeX sources and adapted Part and Chapter display
at 0b9c27222a69. Is it better?
