Sorry, yes it's Windows. Mac seems to be fine. I guess because HiDPI is
more common and better implemented in the latter.

Another reason for having proper HiDPI support: one can change the iconsize gloablly, so using both a HiDPI amd LoDPI screen together (which isn't an uncommon situation, e.g. HiDPI laptop and LoDPI external monitor).

In general, several things go wrong on Windows in this setup. Ui elements are too big and math formulas tiny. (See attached screen capture.)
