Imagine, you are writing English document while the lyx-GUI is French.
I still prefer 'respect neighbor language' as it was before.
Sorry, I mean as default for the document language setting. Currently
all new documents are supposed to be in English, unless people have
saved default settings, which is not the first thing a newbie learns.
So what is a good default language? GUI manguage is not so good, because
if I use a language that doe snot have a proper l10n, I will probably
use LyX in English. OTOH, it seems reasonable to think that the keyboard
language is a good guess (which of course will never be foolproof).
