Thanks for the hint, it works fine.
I have tested also the other way, it works without manual action, so I guess
that Jean-Marc must be right when he states that this is the preferred method to
upgrade po files before the release of master.
I gain 22 translations, this is not much, but it insures that these translations
will be the same in branch and master.
