It's meant to produce a 'bundle' of all the files needed to install LyX. Using mingw on Linux, it produces a zipfile containing lyx.exe, the various Resource files, and the Qt and other libraries on which LyX depends. I'll guess it won't work, but there must be some way to collect all the files that one needs to install LyX when compiling with MSVC. Riki
