Yes, _in theory_. Whenever I tried to use cygwin, I ran into so many problems 
that I gave up sooner or later. That does not mean, of course, that somebody 
with more patience can do it.

Yes. In my experience, the only non-broken STL implementation on Linux is the 
one in KCC.

I haven't had much time lately to do anything on it, but Edwin is making some 
progress. I have a couple of dialogs that worked with the CVS version from 
November, but I need to rewrite them to some extent to work with the current 
version.
