I found following testing sk_UserGuide_pdf2:
Package hyperref Info: Option `unicode' set `true' on input line 4383.
(/usr9/local/texlive/2017/texmf-dist/tex/latex/hyperref/puenc.def
puenc.def 2018/02/06 v6.86b Hyperref: PDF Unicode definition (HO)
Now handling font encoding PU ...
 ... no UTF-8 mapping file for font encoding PU

        -> This part seems unimportant, since it comes on also if a test passes.
[snip]

! Package inputenc Error: Unicode char Ë<9d> (U+2DD)
LaTeX.cpp (920): line: 642
Desc: Package inputenc Error: Unicode char Ë<9d> (U+2DD)
Text:  ...e}+\textsf{1}+\textsf{2} $\rightarrow$ Ë<9d>

Type I <command> <return> to replace it with another command,

for export/doc/UserGuide_pdf2 it is:
! Package inputenc Error: Unicode char 「 (U+300C)
LaTeX.cpp (920): line: 3598
Desc: Package inputenc Error: Unicode char 「 (U+300C)
Text:  ...}」\textsf{~and~}『\textsf{inner}』}]

Checking export/doc/Tutorial_pdf2:
  -> no such lines,
