Allan (Allan Rae <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) had mentioned the solution: The new tabular code can't handle CR (\r)! Although I have tried to remove them within Win32 (maybe I had made anything wrong;-)) using vim, another test in Linux makes all things as expected! Conclusion: Removing those CR-characters brings WYSIWYM back to both worlds! Now a quick and dirty sed-script makes me happy again using LyX (What else ;)! But: Because this script was not necessary before 1.1.6 it would be nice (necessary??) to re-implement that 'feature' into the new tabular source! Thanx to all who have answered and helped solving that problem! Best regards and have a nice weekend Claus
