You can still use the lfun if you insist. It's just not useful enough
to have in the menu.
The way I read Scott's message was that it would make sense to rely on
the getStatus of LFUN_ENVIRONMENT_SPLIT to know when it needs to appear.
I see now that the two logics are different. Can you elaborate on what
the difference is?
