I did not do a git bisect, but I think this may have broken some
exports.

For example, tufte-handout now produces:

  \titleAn Example of the Usage of the Tufte-Handout Style}
  \authorTufte-LaTeX Developers and The LyX Team}

Note the missing begin braces.
