No it doesn't. We explicitly check for bparams.font_encoding() == "T1" > As TU is a standard LaTeX font encoding, there is no need for a > special > handling. Instead, I propose to rename latexSpecialT1 to something > like > "latexStandardMacros". No. As said, it is semantically cleaner to differentiate the font encodings (as we recently saw, these encodings differ in what they support). Jürgen
