Let's first ask Kornel and Günter. Do you think we should turn this option on by default for the tests? I don't know too much about this, but it makes sense to me because it will help make the tests less sensitive to font choice. If we don't turn it on by default for the ctests, it might still make sense to commit the patch for other use cases. Scott
