also, to ensure to trigger the converters, you need to wipe ~/.lyx-XXX/cache/*
(guess you know already, but just in case...).
The two separate cases of the src/graphics/GraphicsConverter.cpp vs
src/Converter.cpp are trigger respectively when just viewing on-screen and when
pdf/ps-viewing.
