I already forgot about this. But retesting now, it seems the problem is gone.
Instead now we have a BIG problem displaying previewed math.
1.) The previewed expression is too small compared to used font size.
2.) The expression seems to occupy about 50 lines in lyx-window.
But that is another problem
I will try to bisect ...
