Dear developers,
I am forwarding my initial e-mail to you because I found that the
behavior described is not specific to classicthesis.
Other document classes (I checked Komascript Article and Article
Standard) show a similar behavior. That makes me believe it is a LyX
2.2.2 , 2.2.x  etc. issue.
Can you help, please?
Michael, you should know by now that we need a minimal example LyX file
to reproduce the error. Screenshots are not much useful.

Jürgen, this time you taught me a clear lesson - I will remember it, for sure!:-D I had the mini example ready to be sent and - as always - I reassembled what I was about to do.
And then I starred at this line in the Latex preamble:

\def\nompreamble{\addcontentsline{toc}{section}{\nomname}\markboth{\nomname}{\nomname}}

And that looked so bloody guilty!
I removed it and the problem was solved, that is the extra useless.
Don't asked me why and how it got there - I do not recall!
Is it of any use or may I scrap it forever?

Sorry again and thanks for your continuing patience!
Michael
