I'm quite sure that you're pspell installation is not configured in
the right manner. I remember that I had the same problems then I edited
some pspell configuration files so it could find the conected aspell
files and all went good.
Note that it is completele different if you use aspell via pspell or
use aspell directly. To use aspell via pspell you have to configure
pspell!!!
Try to have a look at the pspell documentation. Do you have all the right
pwli files in /usr/share/pspell?
