Hi,

I often get mail from people that can not find the mailing lists
on the web site, so I agree with Ramon that something should be
done.

Greets,

Asger
P.S. Maybe it's time to change the e-mail on the first page as
well, so that I'm not listed as the author. I can hardly claim
that I am the web-site maintainer ;-) I suggest to change it
to [EMAIL PROTECTED], or maybe lyx-users instead.
The load is about one mail per week, and I usually just forward
them to this list anyway.

Subject: Lyx website feature request: one-click mailing list access

Hi --

Thanks for maintaining the Lyx website. I wonder whether you would consider moving the
Mailing Lists link up to the top-level. When I first started using Lyx, I frequently
had a difficult time finding the mailing list page, mainly because so many other
topics could be considered "Internet Resources" (e.g. How to get it, What's new,
etc.). Since there are only a few real Internet Resources pages (the main page and the
mailing list page), how removing "Internet Resources" from the main Navigate menu and
replacing it with direct pointers to the actual resources:

- support mailing lists
- mirrors
- other Lyx sites

That way user who arrive at the Lyx site immediately see where they can go for user
and community support?

Thanks!

Ramon
