Non-announced updates seem to be a generic problem with classes for manuscript preparation for journals and conferences. As it is above our ressources to make sure that our layouts and templates are up to date we should put a warning note like: This template describes the state-of-the art <2016-04-12>. Check the author instructions on ... for the required template and document class version. into these "running targets". Günter
