I really do not understand this fear. If you wish to quit lyx because you can't use it anymore that's completely sane, but it's unnecessary to quit it just because you feel overwhelmed. Just step back for a while and relax or just do the part you personally enjoy. I understand your feeling of duty, you are german after all, but lyx dev should be also fun, right ? :) If there is enough people who use lyx in windows as you said, someone will appear out of nowhere, that's my prediction. It just needs guts not have 2.2 for win at prime time and 'care less' for a while on your side. Pavel
