I meant the oldest LyX-supported version, in other words the minimal required version for flawless working with LyX. For 2.2, this would be TL 2013 or TL 2014 (Debian/stable (jessie)). If we want to support CentOS and Debian/oldstable (wheezy), then TeXLive 2012. Günter
