I chopped down a LyX template's LaTeX output to create a minimal
example. I was then told that I should not use T1 encoding:

My question here is: is using T1 encoding wrong for the ctex template
we have? Or was it only because I chopped out stuff when creating the
minimal example that would have needed the T1 encoding? If T1 encoding
should not be used for the ctex template, should it be disabled in the
document by setting the "LaTeX font encoding" to "None (no fontenc)",
or should LyX know to disable it in this case (whatever that case is).

Note that I know nothing about encodings.
