I would add it to the Additional Features manual, possibly as part of
the LyX Server chapter. Or you could make it a separate chapter after

listed in #8959 are resolved:
I think we should aim at a release in March. Do a RC in mid March, and then
release two weeks later, if no urgent problems are reported.
