Horizontal Scrollbar: From what I remember a lot of the challenges
were figuring out details of the inner workings of LyX. As a result of
this, keyboard scrolling was implemented, but no GUI support was not.
Was keyboard scrolling robust enough to be merged with the main source
tree? In either case there may be enough work left here as well for
another go.
The situation right now is that it does not work well in tabulars, but I
need some time to look at it. Also, there will probably be a partial
rewrite (moving code from Cursor to BufferView), but the principles are
well understood now. My plan is to do that, and wait a bit to see what
GUI support may be needed.
