Concerning the LyX Chat project, as you may know, I couldn't resist the

I think I pretty much completed that myself (it's in my private branch). Just
waiting
for someone to call for mainline integration :-)!
I can propose again the interactive LyX -- I know the idea needs discussion, the
implementation is not expected to be easy nor trivial, fighting might happen
about
which way to go, usability might be limited or impaired by corner cases or by
dumb
implementations, deployment might raise issues as due to the need for external
gateways, but if all these aspects are there, then there's going to be some
fun in working at such project :-)!
