I saw this too. For me the difference was that one of them (I forget which) was showing when I exported from the command line and one of them when I exported from the GUI. I think (in my case) it was explained by the following: When I exported from the command line it did not have to use lyx2lyx because the file was already 413 format. When I exported from the GUI, LyX had already used lyx2lyx to convert from 413 to the newest format so it had to convert back to 413. Scott
