No. For some reason painting seems to be very expensive there. Maybe because we are not doing it right.

There have also been cases in the past of some windows machines (?) being very slow, but I do not know why.

But maybe am I making this up, since Mac people complaints come also from the fact that they have to enable car-by-char painting because of ligature problems.
