No. 'Dummy Document.tex' is not the problem. In fact it was removed because 
it made 'make dist' failing, and after the removal 'make dist' and 'make 
check' worked. The first test fails for Scott since a gnumeric converter is 
missing. If this converter is installeed, the test will work. The second 
failure is the only one I see on my machine. git bisect will tell the 
commit. This is a real bug IMHO. I saw this failure before after I did a git 
pull, but forgot to write a message about it.
