That's what I've been hearing from others as well. If a bug is indeed
easy to fix, why doesn't the developer just do it? Well, perhaps
because for a developer it's not worth the time. I see bugs all over
the place in LyX but the large minority are super minor. It's not
worth it to try to fix them all. But it might be worth it for others
starting to get to know LyX's code because they would not only fix a
bug but might learn a great deal. These are the bugs I have in mind.
If a developer wants to fix them, that's fine with me. If they sit on
trac and the easyfix is ignored, that's fine with me too. As long as I
think there's a chance this will be useful to someone and as long as
it doesn't seem to make anything more complicated for others, I will
occasionally put some of these bugs up.
