Due to the problems Scott had with LuaTeX and non-western scripts like Arabic, I investigated what
the 3 main engines LuaTeX, XeTeX and pdfTeX can do and updated their Wiki pages accordingly:

In the XeTeX page there is still lots of information to overcome some problems with Chinese and with
math fonts. Most of these info was added in 2009 and I doubt that these problems do exist with XeTeX
as in TeXLive 2012 and LyX 2.0.x. Can therefore anybody please have a look what of the info can be
deleted or what new info needs to be add for XeTeX?
(I don't know enough about fonts.)
