Actually, the row I was mentioning is not a table row but a LyX display row. Technically the whole table is part of the same row in terms of display (and contains rows in each cell).

Anyone working on horizontal scrolling should perhaps first study (and
try to improve, as it still has some glitches) vertical scrolling (in
big tables). Especially when different dynamic toolbars start to open.
If I remember correctly, LyX is not good in telling you the dimensions
of the cells in a table, or something like that.

Indeed there is a vertical problem with automatic toolbars.
