Now a STATUS report after my first week back (including various messages):

I cannot fix this for now as the problem is the clearing of the row, which
can only be done in one time if you have other chars on the same row as the
inset so the tabular has to be redrawn COMPLETELY on every change! (I'll have
a look at this later in the 1.2.0 cycle, maybe with others help we can
optimize the code!)
> Shift-Tab doesn't work.
Well here it does!

Done!

This was not multicolumn being broken but the problem was opening the
tabular layout AFTER a selection ocured (with mouse button 3!)
Fixed!
> lists in tables not rendered properly
> http://sourceforge.net/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=124363&group_id=15212
Fixed! Now we have the DEPTH lines INSIDE the cell! More then this now the
depth button works also inside the text-inset (didn't you notice this :)
> Math panel won't open in math inset in text inset in table
> http://sourceforge.net/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=124704&group_id=15212
Fixed! This was a problem of mathed as it returned FINISHED and did
unlock the inset this happend ALSO outside the text-inset (the unlocking).
Now the math inset is not unlocked on opening the panel.
> Insert margin note in tables
> http://sourceforge.net/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=124709&group_id=15212
Now this type of stuff can only be inserted inside the text-inset by
Copy/Paste operations. Moreover this will vanish in 1.2.0 (as we will
have real insets for this operations) so I will not invest time in fixing
this more!
> Table selection / inset interaction bug

Fixed!

Fixed!
I still have to look into the problem Jean-Marc and John reported, but I
thought I will tell you what I commited so you can go for a test (if your
not busy partying around ;)
Now for all of you celebrating Christmas I'd like to wish you,
M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S !!!
Ciao,
