I think we should have some layout entries for displayed insets. For
example, displayed equation can be flush left with the proper (fleqn?)
document option. A document class could in theory decide how tables
should be aligned. Since the default in LaTeX is flush-left, it is
reasonable to keep it flush left in LyX. When we get new systems where
the default is different, then we could have a layout option to this
effect.

Similarly, I really do not like the fact that newly inserted tables
automatically get extra vertical spacing. This just does not make
sense.
